Laura Deal Lacey

Executive Vice President, International, Milken Institute
Laura Deal Lacey is Executive Vice President of International at the Milken Institute, leading the Institute’s global strategy across Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Africa. She focuses on expanding the Institute’s global footprint, strengthening relationships with government and business leaders, and creating platforms that connect capital, talent, and ideas to address global challenges. As one of the Milken Institute’s first employees outside the United States, Deal Lacey played a key role in establishing and growing its presence in Asia Pacific, helping transform the Singapore office into one of the organization’s most important centers. She has led global convenings and strategic initiatives focused on finance, technology, health, sustainability, and geopolitical risk. Prior to joining the Milken Institute, she served as Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, representing U.S. companies and advancing policy and commercial engagement across Southeast Asia. Earlier, she worked in the Office of the CEO at Edelman and began her career at the World Economic Forum in Geneva. A dual citizen of the United States and Brazil, Deal Lacey has lived and worked across four continents. She serves as Chair of the Board of FWD Singapore and holds degrees from Arizona State University and Columbia University, as well as an International Directors Certificate in Corporate Governance from INSEAD.
