Anthony Kim (AK) is an American professional golfer whose career is marked by one of the most compelling comeback stories in modern sports.
After emerging as one of golf’s brightest talents, highlighted by three PGA Tour victories before the age of 25 and a standout performance at the 2008 Ryder Cup, Kim stepped away from professional competition in 2012 due to a series of debilitating injuries and personal challenges.
Following a 12-year absence from the game, AK made a return to professional golf in 2024. Against all odds, Kim achieved a milestone victory at LIV Golf Adelaide in February 2026, reaffirming his place among the sport’s most resilient and inspiring figures, as well as earning Kim the nomination for Best Comeback Athlete at the 2026 ESPY Awards.
Beyond golf, AK is a dedicated advocate for mental health and sobriety with the motto "1% better every day."
