Omar Morales Gómez, CFA, has 15+ year experience in investment management. Since 2023, he serves as the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of the Tec de Monterrey Endowment, overseeing the administration and management of the financial assets of Tecnológico de Monterrey, the largest private university in Mexico. In this role, Omar and his team manage a multi-asset portfolio using financial instruments and robust portfolio construction to achieve the endowment’s long-term financial objectives. The portfolio aims to deliver a long-term rate of return consistent with the university’s strategic goals. Beyond his professional roles, Omar is active in the local financial community, frequently contributing at conferences and forums, and serving as a judge and mentor in acceleration programs for startups and early-stage companies.
