With over 18 years of experience in asset management, investment banking, and alternative investments in Latin American markets, Cecilia Jiménez has a solid track record in the financial industry. She currently leads Santander Investments in Mexico, and the Retail Segment, overseeing more than US$50 billion in assets under management, and 11 million retail clients. Previously, she served as CEO of Santander Asset Management Mexico, and held senior roles as Head of Equity Capital Markets and Head of Research at Santander. Deeply committed to advancing diversity and talent in finance, Cecilia co-founded Women in Finance Mexico in 2018, where she continues to serve as a board member. Beyond her corporate leadership, Cecilia is also active as an angel and seed investor in Latin American companies, and sits on the boards of both private and public companies Over the past two years, Cecilia has been recognized as one of the 100 most powerful women in business in Mexico by Expansión magazine.
