Astrea Ocampo has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as CEO and member of the board of one of Mexico's leading pharmaceutical companies. She has driven the company's growth and internationalization, developing Neolpharma's capabilities in Mexico, as well as establishing manufacturing and commercial operations in the United States. Astrea was invited by the US Embassy in Mexico to speak on the "Healthcare in the US" panel at SelectUSA 2022. The US Department of Commerce further selected her as a speaker at SelectUSA 2023 to promote investments in the US. Notably, she was invited to address the "Invest in America" panel during the APEC 2023 meeting. 

Renowned leader in the Mexican pharmaceutical industry, distinguished by her participation in different associations within Mexico, through which she has participated in various proposals to build public policies in Mexico. Astrea serves as Vice President of the Mexican Pharma Industry (AMELAF), where she has pushed for advancing the local industry efforts to export and invest in the United States, focusing on regulatory compliance and competitiveness. Ocampo continues to drive innovation and investment in the industry, building new companies and helping new endeavors through strategic alliances and joint ventures. 

She earned her degree in Law from a top Mexican University, with additional academic programs in Japan, Canada, and Mexico.
