Zhussup Yeralin

CEO, Kazakhstan Investment Development Fund

Zhussup Yeralin is the Chief Executive Officer of the Kazakhstan Investment Development Fund (KIDF), a state-owned investment institution focused on mobilizing foreign direct investment into Kazakhstan’s non-extractive sectors. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management from L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University and a Master’s degree in Finance from Durham University. Mr. Yeralin began his career at Kazkommertsbank JSC and later held senior roles at NAC Kazatomprom JSC, one of the world’s largest producers of natural uranium, where he contributed to financial strategy development. He joined KIDF in 2020 as Deputy CEO and previously served as Managing Director for Asset Management at Samruk-Kazyna Ondeu LLP. Prior to his appointment as KIDF CEO in 2024, he held leadership roles in the private sector. He focuses on enabling international business investment in Kazakhstan through engagement with public institutions and alignment with national goals.
