Ronald Simorangkir

Ronald Simorangkir currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Mandiri Capital Indonesia, the venture capital arm of Bank Mandiri, the largest bank in Indonesia. In this role, he leads strategic investments aimed at strengthening the ecosystem that supports the growth of Bank Mandiri and Indonesia’s economy. Ronald is a seasoned banker with more than 20 years of experience in Bank Mandiri across multiple areas of banking, including Treasury, International Banking, Mergers and Acquisitions, as well as Strategy and Finance. Prior to his current role at Mandiri Capital Indonesia, he was the Head of Business Transformation in charge of formulating Bank Mandiri’s long-term transformation strategy, and prior to that he served as Head of Accounting. Ronald holds an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, and Bachelor Degree in Rocket Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia.
