Kyoungtaek Lee

KT Lee was appointed Senior Managing Director and Head of the Total Portfolio Strategy Division in September 2025. In this role, he leads KIC’s asset allocation and strategic investment initiatives. He previously served as President of KIC New York from 2023 to 2025, where he oversaw the office’s investments and institutional relationships across asset classes. Prior to that, he was Head of the Fixed Income Group from 2019 to 2022, having managed Emerging Market Fixed Income portfolios since 2011.

Before joining KIC, he was a credit trader at Barclays Capital in Singapore, specializing in Asian credit markets. He began his career as an equity options trader in Seoul before transitioning to fixed income. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Seoul National University and an MBA from Columbia University.
