James Wey

James is the Head of International Wealth Management at KGI. He oversees and leads both the International Wealth Management Department and the Investment Products and Services Department. In this role, he is responsible for developing growth strategies for high-net-worth clients, expanding KGI's presence in the Asian market, and delivering customized wealth and investment products, solutions, and platforms. Before joining KGI, James spent 15 years at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, where he rose from a client coverage advisor to a Market Manager and eventually to a Regional Head, overseeing the firm's operations in Singapore and Southeast Asia. Prior to this, he was also a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Brown University in Rhode Island, USA, majoring in Neuroscience. He obtained his MBA from Duke University in North Carolina, USA, majoring in Finance.
