Tom Joy
Chief Investment Officer, Cavamont
Tom Joy is the CIO at Cavamont, a European Single Family Office, a position he has held since April 2024. Prior to joining Cavamont he was CIO at the Church Commissioners for England, the endowment arm of the Church of England, from 2009 to 2024. At the Commissioners he was responsible for managing the $15bn multi-asset portfolio and overseeing the work of the the internal investment team. Before moving across to work at asset owners he worked on the buyside, at Schroders and Rand Merchant Bank (RMB), from 1996 to 2009.
He has a Bachelor's degree in Economics, and a Masters in International Economics, Banking and Finance, from Cardiff University. He has served on various Boards including: The Pension Protection Fund, F&C Investment Trust, Guy's & St Thomas' Foundation as well as other Family Offices.
