Thiago Toscano

Thiago Toscano is CEO of Itaminas Mineração, Brazil's 8th largest mining company, with operations in Brazil and a subsidiary in Abu Dhabi. With over 20 years of experience in mining and infrastructure development, he has led investment transactions in mining-related assets, including strategic partnerships with CBMM in niobium and CBL in lithium, and structured long-term agreements across the mineral supply chain in the Middle East.

A recognized leader in sustainable mining, Mr. Toscano has developed an ESG framework aligned to the UN SDGs and IFC Performance Standards, working alongside global mining companies and multilateral institutions, including the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank. He is a member of the Future of Mining Coalition at the World Climate Foundation.
