Suzanne Clark is president and CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the world’s largest business organization representing companies of every size and sector. Clark has led a period of modernization and growth to strengthen the Chamber’s role as the unified voice of American business and advance its mission to champion free enterprise. Under her leadership, the Chamber helps businesses navigate an increasingly complex policy environment and advance an agenda for stronger, faster economic growth. Clark has expanded and modernized the Chamber’s advocacy operation to amplify business influence on issues including tax policy, AI, trade, energy, infrastructure, and workforce. The Chamber has helped secure major legislative and legal victories, including permanent pro-growth tax reform, critical infrastructure investment, and protections against regulatory overreach. Under Clark, the organization has also won precedent-setting court cases that make it easier to do business in America. As America’s leading private-sector commercial diplomat, Clark engages global leaders in key markets and at forums such as the B7 and the B20 and regularly hosts heads of state at Chamber headquarters in Washington, D.C. The Chamber’s international engagement advances U.S. economic interests, drives increased U.S. investment, and fosters global collaboration. Earlier, Clark held senior leadership roles at the Chamber and led a successful small business. She serves on the boards of AGCO Corporation, TransUnion, and The Economic Club of Washington, D.C., and holds a B.A. and M.B.A. from Georgetown.
