Stella Muthungu is an engineer and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) professional with experience in designing and implementing sustainable solutions that improve community health and resilience.
She currently serves as Head of Production at Toto Safi Ltd, where she leads production strategy and supports the scaling of circular economy and sustainable manufacturing initiatives, overseeing efficient manufacturing processes and ensuring the consistent, high-quality delivery of hygiene products.
Stella also serves as Advisor – Programs in the Office of the Kenya Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development.
She holds an MSc in Water Management for Development from the Water, Engineering and Development Centre (WEDC), Loughborough University, and a BSc in Civil and Structural Engineering from the University of Eldoret.
Beyond her professional work, Stella is passionate about empowering women and girls and co-founded Educate a Rural Girl (EARG), a community initiative supporting education, leadership, and climate resilience among rural girls and women.
