Ruben Coppel Bernal

Rubén Coppel Bernal is Vice President of Financial Services of Grupo Coppel and Chairman of the Board of Directors of BanCoppel and Afore Coppel. In these positions, he promotes the consolidation of the Group's financial institutions and its commitment to financial inclusion and health in Mexico.

He joined Grupo Coppel in 2011 and has held strategic positions in sales, financial services and regional management. In 2017 he was appointed Director of Financial Services and, since 2022, he has focused on the Chairmanship of the Boards of BanCoppel and Afore Coppel.

He directs the Multifamily Investment Office, created in 2012, from which he promotes wealth diversification and analyzes global capital projects. Previously, he was a consultant at Bain & Company, where he supported large companies in their growth strategy.

Committed to education, he participates in initiatives that promote quality training and is a member of the Advisory Council of the Tecnológico de Monterrey Business School (EGADE).

He holds a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from ITESM and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Babson College, in Boston, Massachusetts.
