Rob Wildeboer is Executive Chairman and co‑founder of Martinrea International Inc., a global automotive supplier specializing in highly engineered lightweight structures and propulsion systems. Headquartered in Canada, Martinrea operates 56 manufacturing divisions across North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America, employing approximately 19,000 people worldwide. Mr. Wildeboer has played a central role in Martinrea’s growth since its founding, bringing deep knowledge of the company’s culture, strategy, and long‑term vision. He has been directly involved in negotiating and financing every acquisition in the company’s history, helping position Martinrea as one of the automotive industry’s leading global suppliers. Prior to Martinrea, Mr. Wildeboer co‑founded the law firm Wildeboer Dellelce LLP, where he practiced corporate and securities law. He is Vice‑Chair of NanoXplore Inc., a graphene materials manufacturer in which Martinrea is the largest shareholder, and serves as Martinrea’s representative on its board. He is also a director of Equispheres Inc., an advanced materials company. Mr. Wildeboer is co‑chair of the Canadian Automotive Partnership Council and has advised governments in Canada, Ontario, and Mexico on economic and automotive policy. He holds degrees from the University of Guelph, Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, and Harvard University.
