Richard is the founder and CEO of Alloy Capital, a private lender focused on companies operating in the Americas. Richard has over thirty years of private credit and equity experience in the U.S. and emerging markets. Prior to founding Alloy in 2015, he founded and served as President of PAGF, an investment company which built businesses serving Spanish-speakers in North America (2005- 2024). Prior to founding Alloy and PAGF, Richard was a Managing Principal of Zephyr Management, L.P. based in New York and Seoul, leading private investments in Asia and Latin America. Richard began his career at Bankers Trust Company in New York.
Richard has served on the boards of numerous companies operating in the US and emerging markets and is currently an independent director of The Mexico Fund (NYSE: MXF). Richard is Co-President of the Council advising the Baker Institute’s US-Mexico Center. Richard serves as Chairman of the Board for St. Andrew’s School in Delaware.
Richard is a graduate of Princeton University with an A.B. degree in Politics and is a CFA charterholder.
