Rajit Nanda

Rajit Nanda is the CEO of DataVolt since its inception in 2023. DataVolt is a next generation sustainable data centre platform focused on transforming the DC landscape at scale through energy efficient, future ready infrastructure. Rajit is a highly accomplished global leader in the energy and infrastructure sector, with over two decades of experience spanning investments, finance, portfolio management, and operations across multiple geographies. Prior to joining DataVolt, he held the roles of Chief Financial Officer, Chief Investment Officer, and Chief Portfolio Management Officer at ACWA Power, where he was pivotal in it’s global expansion over nearly 15 years. Under his leadership, ACWA Power scaled into one of the world’s leading power and desalination developers, culminating in a successful IPO in 2021. Earlier as a CFO for ENGIE in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa until 2008, Rajit played a pivotal role in growing the business from a single asset operation into the region’s largest IWPP. Rajit currently serves on the boards of several prominent infrastructure and investment platforms, including Vision Invest, Vision Industries, Renova Inc., and the Revego Infra Fund. He holds an MBA from Xavier Institute of Management, India, and has completed Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD, France. Rajit is widely regarded as a catalyst for sustainable growth and positive impact, with a passion for innovation, purpose driven leadership, and navigating transformation at scale.
