Patrick Shaddow

Patrick is the President & CEO of Syntax Data, a provider of indexes and financial data to financial intermediaries worldwide. Since joining Syntax, Patrick has been creating and developing Syntax Direct, an award-winning AI-assisted index creation platform. He also structured Syntax’s data products, including Syntax Market Maps, which chart the supply/value chains of public and private companies and commodities worldwide. Prior to joining Syntax in 2021, he was Head of Index Development and Operations at S-Network Global Indexes, where he was responsible for creating and managing over 300 indexes. Indexes created by S-Network covered timely investment themes, including natural resources, biotech and clean energy. Indexes created by Patrick were licensed to financial intermediaries worldwide for several multi-billion-dollar AuM products. He also played a central role in the private sale of S-Network to a private equity firm, serving as a member of the management team. Earlier in his career, he served as a Research Analyst for Dow Jones Indexes. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Rutgers University School of Business.
