Najada Kumbuli is an investment strategist and global philanthropy leader with more than 15 years of experience designing and managing investment strategies that drive positive social impact while delivering strong financial returns. Her work sits at the intersection of institutional investing, philanthropy, and inclusive growth, with a focus on deploying capital at scale to strengthen local economies. As President of Visa Foundation and Head of Global Philanthropy for Visa Inc., Najada leads all investment and grantmaking activities in support of the Foundation’s mission to empower micro and small businesses worldwide. She oversees a $500 million+ endowment, with responsibility for investment strategy, governance, and impact performance. Under her leadership, Visa Foundation’s investments and grants have contributed to the support of more than 12 million small businesses and 14 million jobs globally. Originally from Albania, Najada has lived and worked extensively across developed and emerging markets. Fluent in five languages, she brings a global perspective to capital deployment and decision‑making, strengthening Visa Foundation’s ability to invest effectively in diverse economic environments.
