Matt Driskill has spent over 20 years in service to his country, first as a Naval Flight
Officer and now as an Air National Guardsman. He has accrued over 2,000 flight hours
in the F/A-18F and E/A-18G, flying in Operations Iraqi Freedom, Odyssey Dawn, and
Enduring Freedom. Other military roles included serving on Department of War investment
boards evaluating emerging technologies and as a strategist for the Secretary of the Air
Force. In his civilian career, he spearheads the international growth strategy and disruptive
tech partnerships for Modern Technology Solutions Inc (MTSI), a defense technology
solutions company based in Alexandria, VA. He also serves as a Senior Advisor to the
Milken Institute for national security and veterans’ issues. He is a Presidential Leadership
Scholar, National Security Fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, former
member at the Council on Foreign Relations, and board member for several non- profit
institutions. His educational affiliations include an undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt
University, and masters’ degrees from Auburn University and the Naval War College.
