Mark Attanasio

Chairman and Principal Owner, Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club
Mark Attanasio is the Chairman & Principal Owner of the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club. Under his leadership for 22 seasons, the Brewers have been one of MLB’s most competitive teams, ranking second in winning percentage since 2017 and fourth since Mark’s inaugural 2005 season. The Brewers consistently finish in the top half of teams’ home attendance, despite operating in the League’s smallest market. Mark serves on MLB’s Executive Council, Labor Policy Committee, and is the Chairman of the Investment Committee. In March 2025, Mark became the majority shareholder and Director of Norwich City F.C. in the English Football League Championship Division. Mark is also a member of the Strategic Sports Group owners, who invested in the PGA Tour. Prior to the recent sale to Sun Life Financial, Mark was the Co-Managing Partner of Crescent Capital Group, a firm he co-founded 35 years ago. Crescent is a leading global alternative credit and private investment management platform with $50 billion in assets. In the not-for-profit sector, Mark serves on the Executive Committees of the LA28 Olympic Committee, Harvard-Westlake School and Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). Mark is also a founding investor and board member of TORL BioTherapeutics, an oncology drug development company incubated at UCLA. Additionally, he is actively involved in research initiatives through Stand Up To Cancer, the University of Wisconsin and the University of Iowa. Mark received his AB from Brown University and his JD from Columbia University School of Law, both with Honors.
