Karl Kuchel

Karl is Head of Infrastructure for the Americas and Chief Executive Officer of Macquarie Infrastructure Partners (MIP), which manages the MIP III, MIP IV, MIP V, and MIP VI funds. He is also a member of the Investment Committee for the MIP funds and is actively involved in evaluation and execution of transaction opportunities. Prior to his appointment as Chief Executive Officer in 2016, Karl served as the Chief Operating Officer for MIP, where his responsibilities included capital allocation, cash flow management, valuation, financing, and business planning across each fund’s portfolio companies. Previously, Karl focused on acquisition and asset management activities for Macquarie Infrastructure Group and Macquarie Communications Infrastructure Group. Karl holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Queensland.
