Jesse Sisgold

Jesse Sisgold oversees Paramount Sports Entertainment and its premium content studio Skydance Sports, which develops scripted and unscripted content for Paramount’s platforms and third parties. Under Sisgold’s direction this past year, Skydance Sports renewed its exclusive content partnership with the NFL; earned 10 Sports Emmy nominations, including best documentary series for America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys; and achieved #1 releases across four different streaming and cable platforms. Following the Golden Globe-nominated film AIR with Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, notable upcoming releases include Paramount Pictures’ film Mr. Irrelevant, Hulu series The Land, and Netflix docuseries Rafa.

Previously, Sisgold served as President, Chief Operating Officer and Board Member of Skydance Media since 2014, helping set and execute the overall strategy and growth plan and manage the film, television, animation and interactive units. During his tenure, Skyance evolved from a film production company to next-generation full-service entertainment company, ultimately culimating in its merger with Paramount.

Before joining Skydance, Sisgold served as the managing shareholder of his own boutique entertainment and venture capital law firm and launched the graphic novel and augmented reality company Anomaly Productions. He began his career at Heller Ehrman LLP.

Sisgold is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Television Academy, Producers Guild of America, Paley Media Council, and Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission. He was named to Sports Business Journal’s inaugural “4SE in Sports Storytelling” and honored in Variety’s Dealmakers Impact Report for six years in a row. Sisgold is a minority owner of Angel City Football Club and of Team Liquid, a multi-champion esports team. He serves as a board member of UCLA’s Institute of the Environment & Sustainability and Conservation International’s Leadership Council.

Sisgold earned his J.D. with honors from the University of California, Hastings and his B.A. with honors from the University of California, San Diego.
