Jenny Johnson is Chief Executive Officer of Franklin Templeton. In a career spanning over 35 years, she has been a key driver of the company's transformation to what is now one of the largest global investment managers with $1.7 trillion in assets under management. Ms. Johnson held leadership roles in all major divisions of the business before becoming CEO in 2020. She has led the evolution of the business in recent years, further diversifying the company’s investment capabilities and solutions for clients. Ms. Johnson has been named to Forbes’ “World’s 100 Most Powerful Women” list for four consecutive years and has been included on Barron’s list of the “100 Most Influential Women in US Finance” every year since the list’s inception in 2020. The Committee for Economic Development, the public policy center of The Conference Board, honored Ms. Johnson with a 2024 Distinguished Leadership Award. In 2026, she was named a CNBC Changemaker. Ms. Johnson serves on the board of directors of Thermo Fisher Scientific, the Investment Company Institute and the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Foundation. She is a member of the International Advisory Panel of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the Advisory Board on AI in Finance for Luxembourg, the Advisory Group to the Asian Development Bank and serves on the NYSE Board Advisory Council. Ms. Johnson earned her B.A. in economics from the University of California at Davis.
