Jay Rongjie Wang

Jay Rongjie Wang is the Chief Investment Officer of Primitiva Global, a Silicon Valley–based investment firm that invests in frontier technologies through LP investments in the VC ecosystem. Prior to founding Primitiva, Jay scaled and managed multiple tech startups across seed stage to IPO, and held investment roles in leading investment funds. Through her work at Primitiva, Jay has evaluated hundreds of early-stage VC funds to invest in technologies that improve the quality of human life. Her recent early stage investments have achieved a 100% unicorn hit rate. Jay has held leadership roles in five countries across nine major cities, giving her a global perspective on technology, capital, and entrepreneurship. Jay earned her B.A. and M.Sci in Physics from Cambridge University and an MBA from INSEAD.
