Jason Arthur

Jason is the founding Chief Executive of Mission 44 and serves as Impact Director to Sir Lewis Hamilton. He began his career as a teacher and has held senior leadership roles across education and youth organisations, including Teach First and the Youth Futures Foundation. 

He also served as an elected local politician in North London, including as Cabinet Member for Finance for the London Borough of Haringey, where he oversaw its £400 million budget and financial strategy.

He works to expand opportunities for young people from underserved communities, with a particular emphasis on increasing access to education and employment opportunities and embedding youth voice in decision-making.

He holds a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford and an MEd in education policy from the University of Cambridge.
