Erin Blanton

Erin Blanton is the Chief Operating Officer at Carbon Mapper. She has over 20-years experience in methane emission reduction strategy, technology deployment, and operationalizing emissions data, as well as advising on energy markets and investments. Prior to joining Carbon Mapper, she served as Vice President, Zero Emissions Systems at GTI Energy where she led the company’s methane emissions mitigation strategy and business unit. Previously, she headed the Natural Gas Research Initiative and Environmental Social Governance (ESG) research for Columbia University’s Center for Global Energy Policy. Blanton holds a Master’s degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Cornell University.
