Idea generator, investor, partner—Donray is a multi-hyphenate entrepreneur currently building the founding team for LAi, a mixed-use innovation campus he conceived, designed to ensure Los Angeles remains at the forefront of the convergence of AI, media, health-tech, and next-generation industries. LAi is envisioned as a physical ecosystem where the next billion-dollar companies are seeded, featuring generative AI labs for media companies, co-development programs with universities and startups, forward-facing environments for onboarding new technologies at scale, and integrated workforce and student housing.

He is actively deploying capital from family offices and professional athletes into sectors including AI, rare earth minerals, robotics, modular nuclear energy, and has participated in significant private equity investments alongside institutional allocators such as Google Ventures, Guggenheim, TPG, NVIDIA, Samsung, and Chipotle Ventures, among others. With more than 25 years at the intersection of media and technology, Donray began his career in music, collaborating with The Roots, OutKast, Cody ChesnuTT, and Zendaya.

He has since expanded into film and television, recently partnering with ITV on an unscripted series and working with the producer of Mortal Kombat on a feature film.
