Dean Mihas

Dean Mihas is a Co-CEO and Managing Director of GTCR, a market leading private equity firm. Prior to joining GTCR, Dean was CEO and co-founder of Delray Farms, LLC, a specialty food retailer. Prior to that, Dean was with McKinsey & Company. Dean holds an MBA with distinction from the Harvard Business School and a BS with high distinction in finance and economics from the University of Illinois, Chicago.

Dean was previously the head of the Healthcare group at GTCR and has been instrumental in building the firm’s expertise in pharma, life sciences and medical devices. He is currently a Director of Corza, Curia, Dentalcorp, Experity, Maravai LifeSciences, Resonetics, Surmodics and TerSera Therapeutics, and serves on Zentiva’s Advisory Committee. Dean was previously a Director of Sotera Health and of past GTCR investments, including Actient Pharmaceuticals, ATI Physical Therapy, Cedar Gate Technologies, Convergex, Cord Blood Registry, Crealta Pharmaceuticals, Curo Health Services, Dash, Devicor Medical Products, GreatCall, Managed Healthcare Associates, Ovation Pharmaceuticals, Riverchase Dermatology, TDS (formerly Rx30) and XIFIN.

Dean was highly involved with Chicago Public Media for over 10 years, serving as a board member and Chair of the Finance Committee.
