Colleen Foster

Colleen Foster is General Partner of Amboy Street Ventures, an early-stage venture firm investing in women’s health and sexual wellness innovation. She leads the firm’s strategic relationships, portfolio value creation, and brand growth, partnering with founders and investors to scale companies addressing some of the largest and most underinvested markets in healthcare. Previously, Colleen spent more than two decades at Goldman Sachs, where she became a Partner and Global Head of the firm’s $1B+ global commodities business. She advised institutional investors and Fortune 500 CEOs on risk management, capital allocation, and navigating complex global markets. Today, Colleen focuses on the intersection of capital, innovation, and women’s health where Amboy backs founders building the next generation of category-defining healthcare companies. She is a recognized advocate for expanding investment in women’s health and for the role diverse leadership plays in driving returns and long-term value creation. Her nonprofit leadership includes serving as Treasurer of Planned Parenthood Federation of America and Chair of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund. She currently serves on the boards of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and StoryCorps, where she advises on finance, governance, and long-term stewardship.
