Colin Curvey

Colin Curvey is the Founder of Colabora Capital Partners, a new investment manager for Latin America and the Caribbean. Colabora has an innovative model that combines the best of private capital markets with development finance, to raise and manage equity capital at scale, and connect the global investor community to the significant opportunity set in the region. Colabora will bring together IDB Invest, institutional investors, and an experienced team in its formation. Colin has over 25 years of experience in global private equity, across multiple geographies and asset classes. At IFC Asset Management Company, he was a Fund Head for a $1bn growth equity fund focused on LAC and Africa, and a member of the management team that built the business from a concept to a $10 billion emerging markets fund manager. Previously he was a Partner at Duke Street, the London based private equity firm where he led control-oriented buyouts across Western Europe. Colin began his career at Morgan Stanley in New York and Celfin in Santiago, Chile.

He holds a BA from Duke University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
