Carolyn Weinberg is Chief Product and Innovation Officer at BNY and a member of the company’s Executive Committee. Before joining BNY, Carolyn was Chief Product Innovation Officer at BlackRock, where she led global product innovation, development, and commercialization for the world’s largest asset manager. She helped launch new product lines, build strategic partnerships, and advance thought leadership aligned to growth priorities including digital assets, fixed income, transition finance, and private markets. Earlier at BlackRock, Carolyn served as Global Head of Product for iShares and Index Investments, leading global product strategy, development, and commercialization. She played a key role in expanding BlackRock’s fixed income ETF and sustainable indexing businesses, strengthening long-term partnerships, and building new research, data, and trading ventures.
Before BlackRock, Carolyn held senior roles at Citibank, where she led the North America Corporate Solutions Group, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, and McKinsey & Company. She has been named four times to Barron’s list of the “100 Most Influential Women in U.S. Finance.” Carolyn graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College in applied mathematics and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Carolyn serves on the Board of the Allen-Stevenson School, on the Dean’s Advisory Council of the Harvard Radcliffe Institute, and on the Board of the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Foundation as an Ambassador. She also served as an Executive Fellow at Harvard Business School.
