Adam Shapiro

Adam Shapiro serves as Managing Partner of East Rock Capital. Prior to co-founding East Rock, he worked in the Special Situations Group at Goldman, Sachs & Co and in the Private Equity and Mezzanine Finance Groups at Darby Overseas Investments, Ltd. He graduated from Yale College with a BA in Ethics, Politics, and Economics, was a Fulbright Scholar in Argentina, and received an MBA from Columbia Business School. Adam is a Trustee of the Mount Sinai Health System and serves on the Yale University Council and the Yale University President’s Council on International Activities. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia Business School where he teaches “B8361 – 001 Managing Large Pools of Assets for Families and Institutions.”
