
Tawfik Hammoud is BCG’s Chief Client Officer and Chairman, Industry Practices, overseeing the firm's $13Bn of revenue, its most important relationships and leading its global industry groups. He has served on the firm’s Executive Committee since 2012 as well as its Operating Committee. He was previously the global head of BCG’s Principal Investors & Private Equity practice, which he helped launch in 2015. Tawfik's own advisory work in the last two decades has spanned most industries and geographies with a particular focus on investors in North America, Western Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He has served many of the most sophisticated private and public investors in the world from PE, Infra, VC and hedge funds to family offices, governments and sovereign wealth funds. He has advised on a large number of transactions. Tawfik has an MBA from Harvard University and a BA in Finance/International Affairs from Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris. Prior to joining BCG, he worked in finance and as a software entrepreneur. Tawfik is Chairman of the Board of Digital Ventures, a Los Angeles based digital incubator as well as a board member of the Toronto International Film Festival. He is a regular delegate and speaker at various global conferences including the Davos World Economic Forum, the Atlantic Dialogue, the African CEO Forum and the Milken Institute. He is fluent in English, French, Arabic and Spanish.
