Sunitha Malepati

Sunitha is the Founder & CEO of the Buffalo Initiative, which represents the first collaborative funding network and coordinated approach to community-led therapeutic development for pediatric-onset neurogenetic diseases. She is also the Vice President of the CACNA1A Foundation and joined the Board following her daughter’s diagnosis with a CACNA1A-related disorder. Sunitha is an attorney with experience in private investments and nonprofit law. She also serves on the Governing Board of COMBINEDBrain, a consortium devoted to speeding the path to clinical trials for people with rare genetic neurodevelopmental disorders.
