Olivia Albrecht is the CEO and founder of Artemeter, a carbon investment management firm operating at the intersection of climate science, capital markets, and product innovation. Prior to founding Artemeter, Albrecht spent a decade at Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO), most recently leading its sustainable finance practice, where she led a diverse team of more than 50 investment professionals across multiple departments. She also helped lead PIMCO’s global fixed income business, working with institutional and retail investors across Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas. Albrecht serves on the Sustainability Advisory Board at Persefoni, a leading carbon accounting software platform, and collaborates with several geospatial data companies focused on the use of satellite imagery to track, monitor, and analyze sustainability risks. She also sits on the Milken Institute’s Public Advisory Council. Albrecht earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Princeton University, an MBA from Columbia Business School, and a master’s degree in international affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
