Michelle Knudsen serves as the Chief Investment Officer for New York University (NYU), overseeing the University's investment office and multi-billion-dollar investment portfolio. Prior to joining NYU, Michelle was the Senior Portfolio Manager at the Andrew W Mellon Foundation, where she oversaw the Diversified Strategies portfolio and led key investments across the Public and Private Equity programs. Before that, Michelle held a series of increasingly senior roles at Partners Capital. Mostly recently she was the Head of Absolute Return and Credit while leading the firm's New York office. Michelle began her career as a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs. She holds a BA from Stanford University.
