
Mike Kubzansky has served as CEO of Omidyar Network since 2018. He leads the organization and its key strategic priorities, including partnerships with philanthropies and investors. He engages regularly with a wide variety of actors to apply intentional societal guardrails to the digital revolution, and ensure innovations serve humanity. These partners range from start-ups, VCs, and pension fund investors to policy makers, regulators, civil society advocates, universities, and think tanks. Mike also led a philanthropic consortium that invested in Anthropic in 2024.His experience prior to ON spans the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, as a strategist, investor, start-up participant, policy advocate, analyst, and leading thinker, and has worked on many aspects of the digital revolution since the mid-1990s, from Web 1.0 and telecom deregulation to Digital Public Infrastructure, generative AI and present-day concerns. His work has been published in Harvard Business Review, Stanford Social Innovation Review, Fast Company, Barrons, Newsweek, and several other outlets. He serves as a Board member of the Norrsken Foundation (Sweden) and the US Impact Investing Alliance.
