Lader also led the firm’s strategic investments in fintech companies including Acorns, Envestnet, and ClarityAI, and started the firm’s AI Labs with Stanford University. Lader began her career as an investor in Goldman Sachs’ Special Situations Group during the financial crisis. She has spent the last 15 years building technology businesses aimed at making the financial system more accessible to people, at the world’s largest financial firms, as a startup executive, and as a startup founder. She serves on the board of Tech:NYC, the tech industry association for New York, and is a member of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s Global Markets Advisory Committee. She earned J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from Harvard and a B.A. from Brown University.
