Jonathan Sokoloff is the Co-Managing Partner of Leonard Green & Partners, L.P. LGP is a leading private equity investment firm based in Los Angeles with more than $75 billion of assets under management. The firm partners with experienced management teams, and often with founders, to invest in healthy, growing, market-leading companies. Since inception, LGP has completed over 150 investments in the form of traditional buyouts, going-private transactions, recapitalizations, growth equity, and selective public equity and debt positions. Mr. Sokoloff joined LGP in 1990. Prior to LGP, he was a Managing Director in corporate finance at Drexel Burnham Lambert, Inc., which he joined in 1985. Mr. Sokoloff presently serves on the Board of Directors of Jetro Cash & Carry and Mariner Wealth Advisors. Mr. Sokoloff serves as a trustee of Williams College and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. He is also a board member of the Melanoma Research Alliance. Mr. Sokoloff earned a B.A. in Political Economy and History from Williams College.
