Jonathan Larkin is a Managing Director at Columbia Investment Management Co., LLC (CIMC), the entity that manages the endowment for Columbia University. At CIMC, he invests across asset classes globally, is a member of the senior leadership team, and leads the Data Science and Research team. Jonathan is a generalist investor and allocator, with a focus on integrating data science and quantitative research into investment decision-making. Before joining CIMC in 2018, Jonathan spent 20 years in executive roles in the hedge fund and investment banking industries, building and leading multi-manager and multi-strategy equities businesses. His previous roles include Global Head of Equities at Millennium Management, Global Co-Head of Equities at BlueCrest, and Co-Head of Americas Equity Derivatives Trading at JPMorgan. His expertise spans discretionary long/short, event-driven, statistical arbitrage, convertibles, structured credit, and equity volatility strategies. Jonathan holds a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University and has pursued graduate studies in computer science and artificial intelligence at Stanford University.
