Per Franzén

Incoming CEO and Managing Partner, EQT

Per Franzén is EQT’s incoming CEO and Managing Partner, a role he was appointed to in February 2025. Prior to his new role, Per served as Deputy Managing Partner and Head of Private Capital Europe & North America. Under his leadership, EQT Private Capital Europe & North America grew to manage EUR 113 billion in total assets, making it EQT’s largest business line. In 2024, the business line closed the largest private equity fund globally, in the form of the EUR 22 billion fund, EQT X. Per is currently based in London, having joined EQT in 2007 in Stockholm. He has been involved in a number of investments, including Anticimex, IVC Evidensia and IFS. Prior to joining EQT, Per spent six years at Morgan Stanley’s London and Stockholm offices working in M&A, Leveraged Finance and Nordic Banking.
