Ellen Hung

State Investment Officer, Nebraska Investment Council

Ellen Hung is the State Investment Officer for the Nebraska Investment Council and oversees $44 billion in state assets including retirement, operating cash, educational plans, endowment funds and trusts. Ellen was previously the Deputy Chief Investment Officer for the State Universities Retirement System in Illinois and the Assistant Chief Executive Officer for the Santa Barbara County Employee’s Retirement System. Ellen is a CFA Charterholder and holds BS and MBA degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
