Edward Pitoniak

CEO, VICI Properties

Edward Pitoniak is the founding CEO of VICI Properties, an S&P 500 real estate investment trust with approximately $50 billion of enterprise value and a focus on experiential real estate. Its portfolio includes 10 properties on the Las Vegas Strip, including iconic properties such as The Venetian, Caesars Palace, MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay. With over 125 million portfolio square feet, VICI is the largest owner of hotel room real estate in America and the largest private-sector owner of convention / conference / trade show facilities. Mr. Pitoniak previously led two Canadian hotel REITs and served for 13 years as an independent director of Ritchie Brothers Auctioneers, the world’s largest auctioneers of construction equipment. He began his career in the magazine industry, eventually serving as Editor in Chief of SKI Magazine, and then became a senior operating executive with Intrawest Destination Resorts, at the time the world’s largest operator of ski resorts. He is a graduate of Amherst College and a trustee of the Northfield Mount Hermon School.
