Congressman Bryan Steil (WI-01) represents Wisconsin's First Congressional District. He is Chairman of both the Committee on House Administration and House Financial Services Subcommittee on Digital Assets, Financial Technology and Artificial Intelligence. Steil authored the STABLE Act. The STABLE Act is a legal framework for the issuance and operation of stablecoins in the United States. He is focused on establishing clear regulations that encourage innovation and development of Web3 businesses in the United States while protecting consumers. Prior to being elected to Congress, Steil was an executive at a large plastics manufacturing company headquartered in Wisconsin. Steil lives in Janesville, WI.
