He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Starwood Property Trust (NYSE: STWD), a leading diversified finance company. For the past 33 years, he has structured investments with an asset value of over $200 B. The Firm currently manages in excess of $115 billion of assets on behalf of its high net worth and institutional partners. From 1995-early 2005, he was Chairman and CEO of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, a company he founded in 1995. He serves on the Board of Directors of The Estée Lauder Companies and the Real Estate Roundtable. He received his BA from Brown University and later earned an MBA from Harvard Business School.
