Aaron Wiese

As president of Hy-Vee, Inc., Aaron Wiese has been a key voice in shaping retail pharmacy and health care delivery across the Midwest. Since beginning his Hy-Vee career as a student, Aaron’s experiences across all aspects of Hy-Vee’s operations from retail to specialty pharmacy, to logistics have given him a unique perspective on how to bring health care services to communities large and small through multiple avenues. Under his leadership, Hy-Vee has become an award-winning health care brand noted for its innovation and patient care. Most recently, he has been leading the launch of Hy-Vee’s Food is Medicine initiatives across the company. In 2024, Aaron was recognized on Drug Store News’ list of 50 Most Influential People in Retail Health. He’s a leader in the health care and retail industry through his service on the Iowa Healthcare Collaborative; Iowa Healthiest State Initiative board of directors; and as previous board member for the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy. Hy-Vee, Inc. is an employee-owned corporation, operating more than 570 business units across nine Midwestern states with sales of more than $14 billion annually and was recently named the No. 1 grocery store in America by USA Today.
