With over 25 years of experience as a scientist, program manager, and policy advisor, Melissa D. Ho drives freshwater and food transformational initiatives that support the conservation of freshwater ecosystems and the sustainability of food systems. WWF-US’s Freshwater and Food team seeks to address the two biggest threats and opportunities to protecting and restoring nature and a stable climate: agriculture and infrastructure. Melissa has worked at the landscape level, with large-scale public irrigation systems, agricultural value chains, community-based water resource planning and management systems, as well as in household level water technology delivery through the private sector.
