Diana Orembe is a Microbiologist and the Founder and CEO of NovFeed, where she leads the company's efforts in reshaping the feed industry by cultivating bacteria based proteins, steering away from ocean sourcing for aqua feed nutrition and bio-fertilizer production for horticulture, further contributing to sustainable farming practices. With extensive experience in utilizing microbes for food and feed, Diana brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Throughout her career, Diana has been actively involved in groundbreaking initiatives aimed at addressing global food security challenges. In 2020, she was one of the pioneering innovators of the WFP-X Moonshot Launchpad Programme, exploring moonshot innovation for urban food security in megacities with a vision to achieve sustainable food production by 2030. Diana's dedication to driving sustainability and social impact through entrepreneurial innovation was recognized in 2022 when she was honored with the Bayer Foundation Women Empowerment Award. For three consecutive years, Diana has served as a mentor and facilitator at UNLEASH, a Global innovation lab dedicated to fostering innovation and sustainable solutions to global challenges.
