David Trulio is the President & CEO of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation & Institute, the sole entity created by President Reagan charged with advancing his legacy and principles. Mr. Trulio oversees a globally recognized non-partisan organization based in California, with an institute in Washington, DC, that delivers distinctive public affairs programming, issue-driven forums, and policy and educational initiatives with national and international impact. Previously, Mr. Trulio was Managing Editor, Head of Strategy and Editorial Operations, at FOX News Digital. Earlier, he had extensive experience as a leader in both the U.S. government and defense sector. At the Export-Import Bank of the United States, Mr. Trulio served as Senior Vice President for the Program on China and Transformational Exports. Earlier, at the Department of Defense, he was Senior Advisor and Chief of Staff to the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, where his responsibilities included serving as Executive Director of the Defense Policy Board, and he performed the duties of Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs. Earlier, Mr. Trulio was a Vice President at Lockheed Martin International, and held multiple roles at Raytheon.
